Tell me you are kidding!!!.

First its the SF FRB, not the big guy. If Greenspan had said these things the market would have TANKED with a capital T and a capital A and .....

Second, Beebe states "Even without a further earnings squeeze in 1998, the level of the stock market is very high" AND "the Japanese stock market fit the same profile before 1990." We know what happened to Japan after 1990.

Further he states "Beebe also said a sharp profit squeeze was expected to hit U.S. corporations if the nation's gross domestic product (GDP) growth slowed as forecast in 1998." almost guarantees BK if people listent to him.

The BK - here it comes.
