Yeah like the one I saw this mourning on the tube. He said something like this in answer to a question about companies reporting bad earnings. "But the companies have been warning and the expectation have been lowered. This is good for stocks" I kid you not (g)

MB, the best was when some analyst from "Salomon Smith Barney" came on CNBC (the chief technical analyst, ha ha) and gave some chart showing how the regional banks are actually much lower now than they were in 1970, and that they had another 100% to go. ?!? Actually, I couldn't figure out what the chart was she was holding, but I really hope she's paid well for her job (or of course that she's an idiot); otherwise, its her and Rasputin hooked up in Hades.

Michael,
This is going in a different direction, but as Nike seems to be having some problems maintaining their sales and eps, I have been seeing a trend by the younger folks, my children included to buy adidas shoes and wear. Can you or anyone help me find out where you can obtain information regarding Adidas stock? I presume it is public somewhere, Germany probably. do they sell adr's in the states?
thanks in advance.
