Are you guys talking about 16X and 24X CD players? In this instance the 16 and 24 handles refer to the speed at which the CD rotates which directly affects how fast data can be transfered off of the CD. It is independent of the sampling rate on the CD, which I think is a standard and the same for all [music] CD's.

Jim - Thanks about the CD stuff. About the price rise I haven't any more idea than you do!! I do however hope that the reason is that sufficient others have started to recongize what we all have about SNDK and that SNDK is going to announce something postitive tomorrow afternoon. Unless most of us that follow SNDK are nuts this company is as near as possible to a home run in the markets as we are ever going to see. good to hear from you. Regards, L
