GREAT DAY!!!! Fortune validates TAVA!!! Market has, and will continue to follow. Be prepared - this stock will ALWAYS be volatile ... near-term. That's the nature of the beast with any "Y2K" related stock. Long-term, I couldn't ask for a better company or stock to be involved with IMHO. Just want to remind all of you ... don't get too enamored of "personalities" OR "experts" on SI, or elsewhere .... until they have proven themselves to YOU personally. Takes time. Be cautious. It's YOUR money.Notice that all of those questions you asked Tim Flick today ... never got answered? I keep on reminding you guys, don't get enamored of "personalities" on SI or any other threads. Not me. Not TokyoMex. Not TimFlick. etc.Anyone who posts on SI is NOT soooooo generous with their info that they'll tell all of YOU (SI readers) everything ... BEFORE they have ALREADY positioned themselves. Many have ulterior motives - even me. I'm a "long". Lurkers and newbies ... please understand ... friendships are developed, over a period of time, on these threads. I don't have much email interaction with others cause I'm a professed "long". However, traders share info via email before most posts are made. Called "networking". Human nature. That's the way it works.GETTING BACK TO TIM FLICK... Tim Flick "trades". He sold his position at 12-1/2. Probably put his profits elsewhere. Naturally he wants (wanted) to buy in at a LOWER price. ergo some of the negatives in his recent posts. No problem with trading. Lots of money to be making with trading. Tim's actually been pretty up-front. He DOES have a lot of good input. But a short-term trader and a "long" looks at the picture from different perspectives. Just remember that. Some of you "longs" are looking at him as a source of wisdom in terms of where this company will be months down the road. Don't . IMHO Do you're own thinking. Don't even listen to everything I have to say. I'm a confirmed long ... at least for 9-12 months. My goals and risk tolerance can be different from yours. Same with other frequent, or well-known posters. =================================================================== Tim Flick Fri Mar 27 1998 10:51PM - LAST POST BEFORE HE WENT OUT-OF-TOWN <If I was Tava management I would not let this raging housefire burn out. I would throw alot more gas on the fire with some strategic partnerships/engagements. Bottom line, do not let the momentum (that is so hard to start) die. With some strong announcements, they could have this stock at $20 in the next 3 weeks or sooner. Still concerned that current market run is long in the tooth. Too many people making money in little guys. Starting to see big boys beginning to roll over. If they start picking up steam to the downside pull money off the table, little guys won't be far behind. OUT OF TOWN ALL NEXT WEEK, SEE YAWL WHEN I GET BACK. JEEZ, IT'S SURE FUN WHEN YA GOT ONE WORKING WELL. > _______________________________________________________________________ Tim Flick Sun Apr 5 - FIRST POST AFTER HE RETURNED. <TOOK MY OWN ADVICE & SOLD MY POSITION PRIOR TO MY TRIP TO LA IN THE $12 1/2 AREA. > [CK SIDEBAR: I don't recall his previous advice to sell. Guess anyone can have a change of heart though. Even me. ] _______________________________________________________________________ Tim Flick Mon Apr 6 < If I can only be 60 to 70% right I feel that my call was worthwhile. Investing is a serious business that just to buy and hold is NOT the way I manage my money ... right or wrong it's the way I do business. > [CK SIDEBAR: He doesn't "buy & hold" he's a trader. That's fine. Just remember that. _______________________________________________________________________ Tim Flick Sun Apr 12 1998 Since it's a magazine article and not a company press release I would not be aggressive on the opening ... Should be great trading week next week... not time to position for long term.. you will get a much better opportunity before summer. [CK SIDEBAR: Agree with him about not buying at open (that's pretty standard) - disagree about better buying opportunity before summer. We'll see. Maybe I'm wrong.] _______________________________________________________________________Tim has presented himself as a Market Maker. Maybe he is. Maybe he isn't. If this is true, his loyalty is to himself and his company FIRST .... not to SI thread participants. Think about it. I like Tim. He's a bright guy. I learn a lot from his posts. But, I read them objectively. I don't base MY decisions on what Tim or anyone else says. Cheryl
