billwot. I thought it was you that I had this NB conversation with when they merged with Barnett Bank. Anyhow, I did see that great jump this morning and at that time thought about you. Too bad it did not stay up there. I think there was a lot of profit taking. Some investors are worried that those mergers are not that great to the bottom line in the near future. When I look at some of the new found wealth of those CEO's it makes you wonder who the beneficiaries are in the long run. I don't believe it is going to be the customers. But the mergers will go on so we might as well look for a cpl of good targets. gg. Hm, I recomm. Wells Fargo a while back at around 250 when I was in Seattle. If I had just taken my own advice on that. But then there is only so much money to go around to buy that stuff and I had to buy APM again. gg. Maybe Mellon could be next. And MER is going like crazy. Talk is that Chase is the only one that could afford MER. I bought PLAT this morning and got it just in time before it went up. I had my eye on it for quite some time but got discouraged by that constant up and down. Well, at least it went up again. I heard about a month ago on THE EDGE that it could be a double in 12 mos. I did alright in my WCOM today and Intel was great. Sure hope earnings will be better than expected and the conf.call will be great. Good thing I am not a fingernail biter. It will be a long afternoon for me. My IRA could use some replenishing from Intel. In my regular accounts I can hack it. I just buy more if it goes down but I would much rather miss the boat on it. gg.
