Vivus still producing 1.6 mill units a qtr....I do not believe they can do this with only 2 lines.... They moved a proven line from the old to the new plant in qtr 4 1997...to better insure that MCA and FDA approvals would move along without any problems. I believe they have replaced the line already to keep the quantity at 1.6 mill units.... ....Need to Call Nina in the morning to confirm. The point I was trying to get to was "Why shut down a plant that has MCA and FDA approval until you KNOW FOR SURE that the the company can produce enough product to supply the World market...." Too early to make that call IMHO...
