Former Zytec Executive Joins Ancor Communications

New Vice President to Lead Worldwide OEM and Channel Sales

MINNEAPOLIS, April 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Ancor Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq: ANCR), the leading manufacturer of ANSI standard Fibre Channel connectivity products, announced today that Paul Pasqua will join the company as Vice President of Worldwide Sales.

Pasqua will lead Ancor's Channel Partners and Sales Management to penetrate the Storage Area Networking market and expand the Local Area Networking market, focusing on OEM and Channel Partner development. He joins Ancor from Artesyn Technologies, Boca Raton, Fla. (formerly Zytec, Minneapolis, Minn.), where as Vice President in charge of Global Accounts, he led a ten-person sales team responsible for over $300 million in revenue. During his leadership at Zytec, Pasqua was critical in building key relationships with the world's largest computer, peripheral, and networking companies. Prior to joining Zytec in 1985, Pasqua was a regional sales manager for IOMEGA Corporation, Roy, Utah, and was in OEM sales and large disk marketing for Control Data Corporation, Bloomington, Minn.
