I have permanently removed Netsonic - I found no advantage to compensate for the updating delays, hope you do better.

Btw, use the monitor feature mentioned in the second paragraph of this article:

Caveat: the "test drive" works for just one program at a time.

A really nice portfolio program is Internet Trader - many at SI seem to employ it. I run it in the background and it updated continuously without being affected by Netsonic.

Unless you have 64mb or more of memory, IE4 will slow your system noticeably. They don't tell you that at the download but one of the ZD reviews made that point. I absolutely hated the IE4 "active" desktop feature - very intrusive.

I prefer to run Netscape 3.01 Gold.
