Maverick ,S&P aren't telling the market anything that was not widely
known already . However their research department should be keeping up with recent developments e.g. The poor response to Celeron (the competition for sub$1000 PCs) and AMD's recent improvement on yields .

PS the drop to the 25 M/A was inevitable without that news IMHO
