I too was surprised when a broker who follows the field did not know about the ORCTF contract. Maybe they will get more attention tomorrow.

yeah, but everyone knew about it. it wasnt a shock to anyone. what was a shock was the size of GTEs deployment. one has to wonder if they are being as agressive on the CLEC side. if so, we are in pretty good shape.

one thing is for sure...never again will i listen to an estimate on deployment from GTE management...1000 lines by EOY 98. what a joke.
