Market Gems I would like to intrude on the thread for a moment to explain something about Market Gems. The Newsletter/Trading Chat Forum that Jenna and I are working on is not intended to be marketed to individuals. The objective of the business is to provide financial institutions, such as trading houses, brokerages, data sources, etc. with a much needed commodity: Watch Lists. For the most part, there is very little FA/TA done by professional daytraders, and several of these firms want our Watch Lists on a daily, pre-open basis. These firms approached us to provide subscriptions to their clients. These lists attempt to reduce the thousands of stocks to a few that can be daytraded by thier clients. Although we will certainly offer individual subscriptions, we will not sell subscriptions to Market Gems on SI, even though SI's webmistress has allowed us to advertise on our thread here. We will also offer free information on our site to draw traffic to leverage advertising revenue streams. First Call, Zacks, and many other business sites offer free information as well as upgraded or premium services for a fee. As an example of free information, we intend to provide a two week look-ahead of all companies due to release earnings, a sector watch, market assessment and an extensive Tips and Methods educational section that will be continually updated. Visitors will also be the able to obtain some form of stock analysis, also free, at the site. Jenna and I both plan to continue to post to our thread here. However, please realize that posting our URL is to allow potential business partners/clients easy access to our site, as well as provide familiarity for potential advertisers and financial service providers who may wish to cobrand our sites. Our intent is only to provide awareness, familiarity and accesss, and not to solicit subscribers. lastshadow
