Good evening Lee.

TTFN = Ta Ta For Now.

Regarding commercial customer vs. consumer, I think that Compaq has trouble in both areas. They have acknowledged the commercial problem, but, as I indicated last week, local retailers seem to be having problems selling Compaqs of any stripe (sub 1000 as well as Pentium IIs). This was a totally unscientific survey of about a half a dozen stores in the Puget Sound area, consisting of Circuit City, Comp USA, Costco, The Good Guys, and Future Shop. Several of those salesmen told me that Sony was clearly outselling Compaq at the higher end.

TTFN,
