Seppo, being a Physicist by training and dabbing in corporate and strategic planning for a good part of the time of my tenure in running small businesses, I appreciate your merging the two fields on this thread. But it is the third law of thermodynamics that every businessman should be acquainted with, in its less formal form: "you never get what you pay for, and if you can get it, you pay twice what it is worth". A derivated corollary of this law relating to new products launch: "If you hope to dethrone a well entrenched competitor, your product better perform twice as well and cost half as much".
