Dave, I tried to get back to this tonight, but bad day at the
office (metaphorically speaking), so, much as the Great Chef
Spots, maitre de half-baked idees, would like to respond,
I ain't got it in me at the moment and must defer for
a day or two. Nevertheless, I would like to keep up
the dialog for a while, if you have the stomach. Meanwhile,
the ball's in my court. I will have to go away and figure
out what I really meant and/or try to paper over the
holes in my hairbrained notion. Actually, that's unlikely,
because I've succeeded best in my life from failures.
Or ... well, later.

Again, I appreciate your taking time to educate the duffer.
Possibly futile, but appreciated anyhow.

Regards,

Spots

Dave, my apologies, I definitely intended to regale you with
thoroughly half-baked useless physical analogies by now, but
I ran up against reality in (a) just how half-baked my ideas
are (this was NOT a surprise, but one can always hope), and
(b) a number of product support calls (which preempt
everything), which is unusual, and (3) new software delivery
deadlines.

Nevertheless, I will persist until I have accomplished the
goal of propounding useless indicators <ggg>, hopefully
gaining understanding in the process.

Till later,

Spots
