Steve, If you have noticed, the moaners and groaners really have nothing to say, but they love the attention, so their posts are really reruns about the latest 1/16 point drop, lack of news, dead money, or trading (most of which isn't even true, but they enjoy posting to each other).

I often wonder why they just don't sell it!!>> I am also curious why people denigrate a particular stock and act as if they were forced to own it. I see them in numerous threads. Often, they blame anyone who provides useful information for lack of price movement and seem to be unable to judge for themselves why a particular stock has long-term appreciation potential. Certainly, there are bullish enthusiasts on this thread, most who own Ligand want to promote it to one and all. However, a person is a poor investor if he buys a stock solely as a result of reading a Silicon Investor thread, without performing their own due diligence. They usually lack patience and trading skills, and end up buying high and selling low. These whiners can be useful in predicting contrary movements in a stock. If we can persuade them to sell it will almost guarantee a jump in the stock price. Regards, Bob
