Jane,
Again, I do not understand your post. Over the weekend, I took the time to read the majority of this thread, and also some other posts from the participants here.

In reading some of yours, I get the impression that you have a true zeal for God. But, in so many of the other posts, I have been able to get a sense of WHY people feel the way they do instead of just being told that they love God and little else.

Reminds me of Romans10:2-3

" 2- For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge. 3- Since they did not know the rightousness that comes from God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God's rightousness."

All I have seen you post so far is that you have a love for God, but I haven't been able to see WHY. That is the way we can all learn from each other, as is the intent of this thread. It's not just what we believe, but rather WHY we believe it.

Also, you seem angry for someone who is so filled with love for the Lord. Remember, it is the duty of a Christian to spread the word, so instead of running anyone off, will you help to make us understand how you feel and why you feel about any of the issues addressed here? I think that God would frown upon anyone who would not be willing to spread the word, especially to someone as eager to hear it as GaBard appears to be.

God has lots of cheerleaders. What we need here is input in an intelligent format.

Just My Opinion,
Binder
