Hiya, Jimsy! Well, after reading today's latest drilling report out of the ADP (from VIP), I have to say Marum /CG still has the best looking news to come out of any recent drilling (most promising),, in spades. I'm hopeful for all and anyone in the area, of course (looks like VIP's first hole may offer something). - - - - Marum, with shallow drilling (about 1/8 the cost or less), has hit green clay- mineralized material and pyroclastic tuffaceous horizons (some over 8') on at least three separate targets (and collected plenty of clean core for analysis). Along with this strong evidence of the necessary transport to bring the stones up from depth, there are lots of other diamond indicator minerals that have previously been recovered from the area (G-2's, G-10's, G-12's, olivine, chromites-I believe, Diamonds , etc). Eleven holes were drilled over six targets in this first stage. A maximum of 9.4m of overburden has been encountered to date. -- I can't wait for some bigger, deeper drilling now. All-weather access is great. I remain very encouraged by what I've seen thus far. Remember, anyone expecting the slow process of diamond exploration to have all the answers overnight is unrealistic. There are many steps. Lots of analysis, always learning-- geology is a dynamic beast! One must be open to incoming data for analysis. Fortunately, this company has been studying this region for years. Exploration costs are also a major consideration, and Marum's recent program has proven to be highly cost effective. So, relatively, we're roarin' through! Best to all, -j :> In the field again as early as next week, I'm hopin' (on the MMU/MIX land).
