I suspect that buyers are speculating on some news coming out. Perhaps it will be a formal announcement of bringing the Lone Star mine back into production. If they could mine 10,000 ounces at a cash cost of (say) $225 per ounce, that would generate $800,000 (U.S.) in cash to help with further exploration, or for Hub to buy options on additional properties (as he did with Pro-am). Maybe, as well, Placer will agree to stay in there, inspite of the disappointing drill results. Who knows? Regards.
