Too bad you didn't inhale until you puked. Del, that actually happened when I experimented with my first cigar around the age of thirteen. I have never smoked one since. purething

Hi, Del!!! One of the things I am happiest about in all the pending tobacco legislation is the proposal the legal age for smoking be raised to twenty-one. Since ninety percent of smokers start before then, it might really make a difference in the number of young people who get hooked, I hope. And it seems like it would lead less frequently to older children buying cigarettes for their younger friends. Not to mention that such a high age limit would subtly reinforce the idea that this is a serious decision to make.
