Thanks for the info. That really surprises me that MOT is getting into FED panel biz, even on a small scale. I know ImageQuest and another glass factory went out of biz this year leaving only OIS and Xerox_Research Parc as the only two major LCD glass panel makers left in US. I thought the drop in LCD panel costs made FED start up biz extremely risky because initial FED displays will cost far more than LCD, albiet a far better display.

I've seen FED displays and I hope the technology progresses fast enough and the prod cost come down to compete with AM-LCD.

MOT must plan to spend a tremendous amount on FED R&D in the hopes to get a ROI many years from now.
