The definition of an atheist is one who denies the existence of God, or one who disbelieves in the existence of a deity. There is no more proof for that position, than for the Christian position, although there is the somewhat supportive doctrine of having to prove a positive as opposed to a negative, but still- irrational to posit a belief one way or the other, for something that seems impossible to know in this life.
