Charles, I believe your humor could actually be close to the economic situation. Today more Americans have more money in the stock market than people did in 1929. The 29 Crash did not cause the Depression but left us vulnerable to the economic downturn and global recession. Any significant domestic economic problem could trigger a similar cycle, especially with the liquidity of investments today.
