Yes,its a penny stock, but it just announced a distribution agreement with an AT&T subsidiary. I dont listen to this type of music either, but who here will admit to buying a KTEL record or cd.
Good luck to all, ken

WILTON, Conn., April 17 /PRNewswire/ -- J-Bird Records (OTC Bulletin Board: JBRD - news), known as the industry's first
World Wide Web recording label and AT&T's a2b Music today announced a new ground breaking joint venture. The pact will include the
creation of a co-branded Web page that will provide quick consumer access to nearly 35 tracks that will be made available for
download over a six-month period. Titles from J-Bird Records will include music from The Guess Who, Harlem Gospel Choir, Andrew Gold
and alternative sensations, Lovechild and Sugarpop and will be made available complete with discount coupons which will be
redeemable at all participating Navarre Corp. [Nasdaq:NAVR - news] retail outlets. Downloads can be obtained at href=http://www.j-birdrecords.com target=new >http://www.j-birdrecords.com or at a2bmusic.com
starting in June.

''We have been extremely impressed with the business that a2b Music has pioneered the past few months,'' said Jay Barbieri,
founder and president, J-Bird Records. ''This deal gives us an even better opportunity to make our music more accessible to the
consumer and should help to pave the way for other independent labels to do the same. It is the consumer that should be the winner.''
The deal also calls for the a2b Music player to be bundled on J-Bird Records' retail CD releases. This component will make it
easier for J-Bird record buyers to download those songs that are made available through the Web site.

''We are very proud to be in business with a company like J-Bird, which provides quality music in all musical genres, to the consumer,'' said a2b Music co-founder and Chief Operating Officer, Larry Miller. ''Deals of this nature will make it possible for a2b Music to further expand and improve upon our relationships and service offers with major and independent record labels.''

AT&T's a2b Music service ( a2bmusic.com ) was launched in 1997
using technology developed by AT&T Labs. The company was the industry's first to incorporate conventional off-line and on-line
retail into its digital offerings and has developed a standard for the quickest and most secure digital downloads in the music and
technology industries today. In the March 1998 issue of The Journal of Audio Engineering, an independent study found that the a2b Music
platform offers the best quality sound on the Web. This technology has also been designated by the International Standards
Organization as the new MPEG audio standard. Co-founded by Chief Operating Officer, Larry Miller and Chief Technical Officer, Howie
Singer, a2b Music has created a new marketing standard for the delivery of music via the Internet. J-Bird Records ( href=http://www.j-birdrecords.com target=new >http://www.j-birdrecords.com ) was launched as the music industry's first World Wide Web recording label and
was founded by Jay Barbieri in October, 1996. Since then the label has gone public (JBRD OTCBB) and has seen its catalogue swell
to more than 250 titles in that time. In addition, J-Bird Records is now represented in more than 50,000 retail accounts
through the Navarre Corporation, the industry's leading distributor of independent record labels across the country.

More on this partnership to follow.
