CHUCK!

I posted this question b4, but had not rec'd an answer. Further, others on this thread have expressed an interest in knowing the response as well...

The analytic seem to only work with daily data, which of course can base calcs on full bars. What is FAR more useful for an active (day)trader, would be analytics based upon intraday bars (Interval bars). What's the likelihood of this coming up?

Chuck: I AM NOT HAPPY WITH STOCKEDGE!

First I am told to get the new version 4.0 rel 2 to fix crash problems. I then do that. The new version comes up asking for USER NUMBER. What is that? Where can I find it? Tried to look it up on your website (user maintanence pages) -- no luck! (and these particular pages takes AGES do download!)

Next the new installation removes the server name in the I-net address field - again where can i find it again.

I have been down for several hours today - on a day when the marked is really moving - Look for example at the internet stocks...

I have of course mailed stockedge directly - several times - but as of now still no reply.

DISAPPOINTING SERVICE!

Just signed up with Stockedge on Monday. Wednesday I find myself having to download an upgrade. Actually reloading an older version for use while they patch the new one. Or so a customer rep told me. At any rate now this version only lets me put in 8 quotes in the quote box and then I get a message that says I have exceeded my limit. I thought the limit was 50 stocks!? Any suggestions?

Bid and Ask's from some of the prominent stocks like INTC and DELL are not making any sense today. Has anybody else observed this today?

Now for something completely different: The "timescale" used in StockEdge seems to use local time rather than the time of the exchange. I can sort of understand why this was made, but would really prefer at least having a choice of using the exchange's timezone. Something to consider? You might still be able to put it into release 2 for the re-release...

Hi,

I use Datek and have been looking for the right Level 2 program. I came upon the StockEdge web page and after looking things over was about to sign up. However, I thought maybe I should check out SI first to see if there was a users' forum. Here I am, and frankly, after reading of all the problems people have been having with it, I am reluctant to take this on. I mean, I am so tired of paying someone money for things that don't work well.

Also, I gather that one is really limited in the number of stocks one can track on the screen. I often need to see 10 or fifteen at once....

Concerning another matter, what has been the experience of fitting this to Datek....anyone?

If I seem irritated, please forgive me...Datek's servers have shut me out from trading for most of the day...<g>

Best,
Charliss
