Indeed you are correct, SFAIK, assuming GPS satellites will have little problem with an actual Y2K "bug". And I have understood that various military GPS systems handle the EOW issue already. But there are still concerns and the military and other consumers of navigational data will continue to test and verify their receivers for compliancy.

Thank you for the excellent post from the GPS engineer. Now all you have to worry about is Cycle 23. (Research that one... :0)
