Altris <ALTS.O> says lowering payroll costs 25 pct SAN DIEGO, April 14 (Reuters) - Altris Software Inc. said Tuesday it lowered its payroll costs 25 percent from the year-ago period as part of a new operating plan. Altris also named Roger Erickson as its chief executive, effective April 8, following the resignation of Jay Tanna. Altris said in a statement that Erickson had the technical skills and knowledge of its customer base to lead Altris, which makes document management software, in reducing costs; generating cash from operations; focusing technical talents in a cost-efficient manner; and concentrating sales in the company's strongest vertical markets. by my calculation, the restatement should follow today or tomorrow and shares will be trading again with or without an "e" on the end.
