What does "bozo" exactly mean?

<CEO or Chairman of Apple "forever">

A complete lunatic and technobrat.
I'm glad he's in charge. It's good for my shorting strategy.
He will run off all the good contributors.
Go Steve! Tantrums and back-stabbing are good!

Good article on Jobs by Jim Carlton on front page of WSJ today. Reports that Jobs
said he'd be either CEO or Chairman of Apple "forever" because he's already "turned
it over to a bozo once." You have to wonder, though, about the effects of his
abrasiveness over the longer term. In the immediate term, I think his urgency and
focus (not to mention practicality) are profoundly good for the company.

Steve Jobs is good at surrounding himself with people he believes in and that work well with him. This was true of John Sculley until Sculley forced him out in the mid 80's, and he won't make the same mistake again.

I can't imagine a scenario in which he gives up all control of Apple voluntarily, and as long as Apple's numbers keep improving, the board will keep him. By the same token, no one will take the job as CEO when they know jobs is pulling strings and has final say in all matters.

The consummate showman, Jobs is just waiting for the right time to announce his status as permanent CEO when he can decide how to juggle all the aspects of his life.
