You may be right about a market sell-off over Y2K. Economist Ed Yardeni, who has an outstanding track record over the last decade or so, is predicting a 60% chance of a '73-'74 style recession related to disruptions caused by Y2K: yardeni.com

Geoff, I don't understand about exercising at 40. Unless there was some concern that you could not transact the exercise the first part of Jan 2000, why exercise (in a couple of weeks?<GGG>) when the stock reaches 40?
