Kim,

I agree that this is probably Company X, since we know that that company was interested in HMD's for fixed wing aircraft. It's good to see that Microvision has already developed a binocular VRD device. This makes me more comfortable with their ability to deliver the two contracted, binocular VRD devices later this year.

One minor correction. You used the terms LCD and CRT interchangeably in your message. VRD was reported to replace CRT's, not LCD's in this particular implementation.

Stephan

Kim,

The latest company announcement of the advanced HMD to a "large international avionics company" is indeed, great news. The delivery of the HMD for use in a jet fighter cockpit bodes well for future use of the VRD in aerospace/military applications.

First, the advancement of VRD technology continues to move forward with each announcement. Secondly, the use of the HMD by Co. X for the herky-jerky environment of a jet fighter cockpit demonstrates that VRD technology is feasible for this harsh environment. As we know, this is the second avionics company that is clearly intrigued by the VRD. My shares will remain in strong hands in anticipation of more good news from MVIS.
