I don't think we will see Debeers commit to any more JV's, until they spend some time/money exploring Troymin's property. If I had to guess, Victory can be a target. Pure Gold must have been approached and they may have refused to talk to Debeers for many reasons. I have some reasons but would not post as it is not confirmed.

John Auston made some interesting comments about recovered diamonds in BHT kimberlites. He said that the micro diamonds recovered are sharp and clear, yet the macros show evidence of resorption.

Now, we may ask, how can there be both?
Are we talking about two different sources for these stones?
Are they from separate phases of the kimberlitic volcano 'venting'?

This is a matter for discussion . . .
