Good morning, Sig. I attended a very interesting presentation last night on the Y2k problem. The presenter was a gentleman from Paradon Capital, and he had some pertinent observations on the computer industry. He felt that because of the pervasive problem of y2k non-compliant systems, that hardware replacement will be a very big driver for the box makers, probably starting in the second half of this year. He pointed out that the machines that are non-compliant were built prior to 1995. He said the drag on the industry is that many companies that have committed to replacing their machines are waiting for prices to fall further.

TTFN,

CTC

Sig, the Compaq report in the morning should affect Dell more.

We will still need to wait.
