Steve, Congratulations on your call. LGND's bid is indeed 14 3/4 and your posting of "NOW" less than 1 1/2 hours BEFORE the event is certainly well within the margin of error of most predictions made on this board. In fact, predicting almost anyone BEFORE it happens, is rather unusual.

I guess LGND COULD see 14 within 3 weeks or it COULD see 15 within the same time frame. Calling Biotechs is EASY :-).

Bid still at 14 11/16ths -- some folks must just be wishing LGND up :-)

LGND's bid has hit 14 3/4 several times this afternoon. You are absolutely correct. The bid of 14 11/16 has "failed to hold" several times in the past few hours.
As I have noted many times, some posters have trouble calling prices and trades AFTER they have happened. Guess those hindsight glasses are not quite 20/20.
Now 14 3/4 has "failed to hold" as bid rises to 14 13/16.

Steve, Most people have 20/20 hindsight, and don't need glasses. However, some of our nay sayers put on their hindsight glasses and have difficulty reading charts, quotes, and posts.

Some of our touters should invest in 'real' real time quotes, that way they won't look foolish in their posts.

Actually, Free real time quotes are available at:
freerealtime.com:8000/
All that is required is registration. However, most delayed intraday quotes will hint at when the bid was raised to 14 3/4. They not only show when the trades were between 14 3/4 and 14 7/8, but they also demonstrate that there we no trades below 14 11/16 after I congratulated Steve on his excellent call. It's also rather easy to see that LGND's closing bid price was 14 3/4. The closing bid is listed at the bottom of the page with these posts.
I don't think that viewers need real time quotes to identify many of the foolish post(er)s.
