Something obviously driving it. It has been by far a better performer relative to QNTM and SEG over the past couple of weeks. They also announced a week or two ago that they are calling back employees as temporary employees at their old salaries--the same employees who are still collecting severance pay from when they got laid off. Bizarre--they will in effect get twice their old salaries for awhile. Another big write-off coming in this quarter, apparently.

I look forward to their CC. It will probably be as strange as the last one, which resembled a hair shirt exercise.

Best,
Sam

IVAC reported last nite that they saw an increase in quote requests which "might" be an indication that next Q will be the bottom. EXBT reported well last night and SEG is rumored to be preparing for positive comments tonight in their CC. I think today's reaction is everybody preparing to fish the bottom. If SEG CC tonight is positive then you'll see a pop this week IMO.
