Everybody, I just got off the phone with Ginger at Regulatory Strategies, a very nice lady, who confirmed that there was one last thing that was pending last week as it worked its way through the input system at DHEC. She thinks it is possible that Robbie Brown didn't see it when he talked to Robert Korn. It must be delivered, stamped in, and read by the proper people. She said Robbie Brown isn't a bad person, he's just doing his job.

Ginger tells me that they have been having meetings for several months with DHEC to avoid the typical situation where an application is made and then a series of letters are sent out from DHEC to the applicant asking questions about details. These are never done by getting on the phone and getting the answers real time, but each question asked in series takes several days to go through the mail to go out and be replied to. That is why they were having the series of meetings to head off that typical problem. In short, DHEC should once again have a completed application.

I asked her about the Texas permit and she said the news release referred to the Texas exemption list, not to any federal list. Texas has the greatest exemption list of any state.

Charles

Ned, my post asking for a vote was intended to elicit the effect of the low point in GRNO's situation, nothing more. While I am really irritated by the situation, I am not panicky. I expect there to be something come out of the meeting with the Turks and that AMBIX will come up with their order in due course. I expect a permit to be issued, when I don't know. Maybe the application is finally considered to be complete at DHEC or maybe they will think of something else to ask.

Anyway, as usual, it is just a matter of time.

Charles

P. S. I thought of more questions for Ginger, but now she doesn't answer the phone. Oh well, I'll keep trying.

P. P. S. Think of this. Not to hype the stock or anything, but look at where it is and think of the effect of a couple orders with surely more to follow eventually.
