Maurice has noted:

"Small people talk about people. Average people talk about numbers. Great people think about ideas. Or something like that."

Hmmmm....Now, let's see. Second quarter earnings should now be about $.17 or $.18. Earlier we had expected $.25 or so. Cihra of Furman Selz is now looking for $.95 for the year, down from $1.10.

First quarter SG&A was down $ 170,000 from quarter four. How could that happen in a year when SG&A has been guided *up* by the company's own 10K comments? And....weren't those comments only issued about a *month* ago?

Whatever does it mean?

<<These are outstanding scientists>>

AND that is one very fine group of VC folks behind Siliscape!! Those players are certainly going to be of some help if this party takes off. I doubt they would have let any old bunch of clowns buy in to their party merely for the sake of a few dollars. They must see something good coming of this alliance, and you can bet they have seen and toyed with more solid information than has yet been publicly disclosed by our secretive friends at TFS.I'm sure that if they felt Kopin or TI or Sharp or anyone in this world had better things to offer, they could have struck a deal with that other outfit.

I think in time this news should be good for more than a one day small uptick in TFS's price.

I am a little reminded of the THRX/JNJ alliance last summer. Although it was announced 4 or 6 months in advance, not much happened for many weeks after it actually took place. Then a $17 to 25 stock made it to $68 in the following few months when suddenly future benefits became more visible to all. What we need here is some visible sign that there is a real benefit (orders) behind this deal.
