Dell implemented Flash a long time ago... it became standard on their systems I believe around 92 with 486/DX2 systems. Many cheap boxmakers stuck with standard EEPROM as long as possible to shave costs. Hey, but a 486 is a 486. What's the difference? Right? <gg>

As for the rest of 98 and the technology that will drive yet another upgrade cycle.... YEP.
