Don't know if this is what you are interested in or not, but here are a few sites I often check prior to market open to see if there have been any disasters around the globe etc. Helps predict what the day might be like.

Japanese Market chart:

Kitco Gold chart:

World Markets (from Yahoo):

quote.yahoo.com

Usually during the day, I check the CNNfn site for a graphic view of how the U.S. markets are doing:

cnnfn.com

And the following site at Bloomberg to see how world oil prices are doing:
