Who is a Jew and who is a Gentile? In Biblical times, Jews or Israelites were descendants from the twelve tribes of Israel. All of the Hebrew Prophets foretold of the Messiah of Israel who would come to establish the Kingdom of God by redeeming Israel and all of mankind from their sins. Jesus fulfilled His promises in the Prophets and redeemed His people. All of the first Apostles and disciples were Jews. Hundreds of thousands of Jews accepted Jesus in the firs century and fulfilled the Old Testament Prophecies. These Jewish Christians went out and evangelized the whole earth and established the Christian Church. Jesus came and established His Kingdom by dying on the Cross and being raised from the dead, just as He had promised. Jesus established a New People of God called the Christians People--made up of Jews and non-Jews. These are the New Israel of God--the real Chosen People in the last 2000 years. In one day the nation of Christians was born. For two thousand years the Body of Christ--the Christian Church--has been the People of God. We are living in New Covenant times and not Old Covenant times. Those who would try to revive the dead Old Covenant are according to the Scriptures, "Judaizers"(Read the entire book of Gal. to see how Paul dealt with the "Judaizers". All those who rejecte Jesus are, according to the Scriptures, antichirst. 1Pet. 2 "9: But ye(Christians) are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: 10: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: Do you believe these Words from God? Paul tells us that those circumcised in the heart are the real Jews. Romans 2 28: For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: 29: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. How about these? Paul tells us that Christians are Abrahams' seed and heirs of the promise. Gal.3 28: There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29: And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. Paul tells us in Philippians that the " people of God"--the real circumcision-- are those who worship God in the Spirit. He also warns us of those who reject Jesus and still try to claim to be chosen, but do not worship God--Jesus in the spirit. Phil.3 "2: Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision. 3: For we(Christians) are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh. Conclusion: The Christian People are the chosen people of God and for the last 2000 years they are the only chosen people. All others who claim this status without accepting Jesus are impostors, and that includes the state of Israel and the modern Jews. THERE IS NO SALVATION OR CHOSEN PEOPLE OUTSIDE OF JESUS

GB, It appears to me that your feelings are hurt so now it is strike back time. I stand by all my posts and am just telling you how it has been on these threads just prior to your appearance with all of those questions that I failed to see were germain to our thread. Where do you stand with the Lord? You did state that the Bible was nonsense and therefore not believable. You are very rigid on this point so if or when my Christian God I know as Jesus decides to rattle your chain is up to Him. When you are ready, you will come. I fail to find anything combative about my posts. However, I will apologize if you are easily offended. God bless, James
