Here are some interesting facts about SEMI:

Current PE = 9.0
Historical PE for SEMI's industry = 19.1
S&P 500 PE = 28.1
Based on a PE of 19.1, SEMI should trading much higher.

Since 2/18/98: SEMI's price-earnings (P/E) ratio of 9.00 has been at least 25% below its industry's average.

As recently as 1/15/1998: Analysis shows that the price-to-sales ratio (PSR) of SEMI has been at least 25% below its industry's average. A PSR significantly below the industry average is one tool sometimes used to begin a search for undervalued stocks.

Since 4/6/98: The three-month relative price strength rating of 11.00 for SEMI has been at least 20 percentage points below its 12-month relative strength.

The shares at $2 are getting gobbled up like mad. MMs are trying to hold it here for some reason. Are they short? Probably not, but maybe someone else has a better take?
