Won't the May and beyond "in-somebody's-money" puts be cheaper this Friday??

You may be right but I usually do not hold PUTS or Shorts that long.
I will be out before Friday. Also look at the premiums of other PUTS and you will find this to be the best buy.

Maybe on Friday I will be in them again or possibly Julys PUTS, but I have little or no idea where MU will be then although 27.5 to 30 sounds good.

No matter what option you're playing, you will get ripped off if you buy it on Friday. There's a gouge factor of at least 1/4 point that goes away between Friday close and Monday morning.
