You mean they won't try AMD's trick - predict a substantial loss then actually report a staggering loss?

No effect? AMD was pegged to be a $90 stock by the end of 1997! Look at it now, eeking out dead cat bounces in the 20's. In my opinion putting the squeeze on the competition at the cost of lower margins was the right thing to do for the shareholders.
