To all: How would the markets react to Pfizer spinning off it's Medical Technology Division? I remember when LLY spun off Guidant a move which rewarded shareholders handsomely. I'm hoping PFE spins it off, it looks like its sales are slowing and PFE can do better by focussing on its core consumer healthcare. I can see it all now, at the shareholder's meeting, they announce a spinoff, and analysts jump in and upgrade earnings on PFE.

Hey Bogie, Lose the Attitude! The point I was trying to make was that even if PFE didn't beat their earnings estimate the future looks very promising. So that is why I was wondering why it was down $2.00.
