I think Bay should take out a full page ad with a clipping from a news article re: the power outage story, customers screaming etc. and splashed across the heading of the page it should say "Is it any wonder Cisco customers are kept in the dark?" (Further copy on why Bay is better, play on words "kept in the dark", yada yada yada, get it?

End to End Broken!

Some of the customers affected by Cisco's frame relay problem

Wal-Mart Stores
2,400 U.S.stores experienced difficulties processing credit-
card purchases or electronically updating their inventorie...

Salomon Smith Barney
Used "technological and manual backups" to ensure that
its customers weren't effected...

Southwest Airlines Co
Outage didn't affect "day-to-day operations," but made it
temporarily difficult to perform simple tasks, such as tracking
cargo packages that the airline ships...

Countless smaller companies
(affected a few thousand large businesses)
Had little or no backup, forcing them to wait as long as 24 hours
while AT&T restored service.

Consultants said the breakdown provides companies with a valuable lesson in the need to use more than one networking vendor in case their primary network provider fails.
