the first resistance was
1124.80 for the SP8M

and we usually add a buffer of .50 to it...to be safe..depending on what you are doing

so it really didnt go over the resistance....

but if you saw kevins "break points" we did go over those.....

those break points can be used to buy calls or puts..depending on where everything else is... neutral zone etc...( between pivot and break point..not opening above break point)

for instance...today you could have bought calls when the break points were pierced...and used this SP8M resistance level to sell out...

if you play the indices you just have to watch how everyone uses their system..

the levels change everyday... i will post what they are for tomorrow later....

Ratan, I do genuinely feel for those BKers who suffered great mental stress today. I was not in the market today-not due to selectivity, but rather because my knowledge / sophistication / technology precluded my participation. That certainly doesn't mean I haven't been there - done that before.

If I could be so bold as to offer an unbiased perspective. Do you think the market is so oversold that trading tomorrow is the trade of a life time. Would a better trade be a failed attempt at the past new high and then go short?

Keep perspective - Are we in a value zone or excessive zone.bottoms get so low they are painfully obvious. Has current exuberance been so high it is blatantly ridiculous? I still think new lows should almost silently start to creep up before the BK occurs. Last and most importantly - in this high flying valuation time period hold firm to your sense of exuberance.(it must be outrageous!)

Press on , nothing in the world can take the place of persistence.

Talent will not ; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent.

Genius will not ; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb.

Education will not ; the world is full of educated derelicts.

Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent!

We are correct in our gut feel ! It is simply a matter a perfect timing :-) That is enough to humble us all! My bet is David is systematically retracing his work - while some criticize - he is applying persistence. For my money - he has my attention and admiration!
