Intel Corp. (INTC) 76 -1/4: chip maker posts a Q1 profit of $0.72 a share, including charges, in line with Wall Street expectations, vs year-ago profit of $1.10 a share; excluding charges, INTC earned
$0.82 a share; revenues fell 6.3% to $6.0 bln, a bit better-than-expected, but it sees revenues in Q2 flat to slightly down from Q1; Q1 gross margins came in at 54%, and sees Q2 gross margins down a few points from Q1; INTC sees Q2 expenses 3% to 5% higher than in Q1; plans to cut 3,000 jobs through attrition during the next six months.....
