I talked to a small money manager about that, and he suggested that what was happening is that a lot of money managers watch what the Fidelity energy sector fund does. He claimed that it was apparent that Fidelity was significantly lightening up on oil service stocks towards the end of the summer, so that's what he did. He made it sound more like lemmings than a conspiracy.

He's very bullish on the group, but said he would take his lead from Fidelity. Talk about "no brainer" ...
