Did anyone see any official news announcement about GLM today? Why doesn't the High and Mighty Yahoo Quotes have any news? Can someone post a link?

Baz

Some bad news: API number out and they are no good.

bloomberg.com@@SSR6bQcAIJokRh*7/energy/nrg2/topnew/topnew_front.html

Top lines:
Crude oil stockpile rised higher than expected.
Distillates (heating oil and diesel) also rised more than expected.
Gasoline stockpile declined a bit but in line with estimate.

Immdiate afterhour market reaction was 10 cents drop but it had since recovered to less than 10 cents drop. Check MRCI site yourself for the latest quote. Too bad the API's numbers are bad because if they are good then traders would have a good excuse to mo-mo a follow through of today's small rise among some drillers. We shall see what happen tomorrow. Who reports tomorrow?

Baz - the GLM phenomonon is a bit sick. It reminds me of what happened in the pie-eating month of Dec. I don't trade GLM. I don't think I ever own GLM before. Reason - relatively low beta.

I don't reply to any rude one-liner - be civilized or be gone!

Tom - I believe if we were to plot daily volume of this thread as a function of calender dates dating back to the inception date, we would see a very nice exponential increase profile. If this thread were made a tradable option, our one penny investment would have balloned to near $200 dollars. Guess what? This is not really far-fetched. GLM had done this kind of move before!

The Big Dog's numbers are of 12/97. I believe the percent institutional ownership should have further declined since Jan 1 because the fund managers are all hard pressed to beat the market. With the drillers ranking at the bottom of all the sectors, I think they had switched out during the past months but some may have come back on the April fools day.

Big Dog - I wonder if MIND's open at 14 1/2 on Monday (yesterday) had got to do with some over-anxious buyers who bought at the market at open after visiting this thread over the weekend!
