Great threads (all three). Some of my current favorites are:
omkt (look for todays run to continue), xico (value play semi - seems dull but time to buy semis are when they are resting) - selling for less than book value with a lot of cash.

Radaf - under 20 for run to 30 by year end - high tech toy company, my biggest winner, cfo posts on thread and story is still good - buy when it retreats or is stagnant, either hold long term or sell on pops
intv - finally turning, voice network etc
csno - value casino play with heavy insider buying and new casino to open later this year
gnet - would like pullbacks to add more

and of course
brkb - putting this one away for retirement and beyond, my largest postion
msft - adding on dips

This is what I could find on the company. I tried to call CFO but he won't be in till tomorrow. I just wanted an opinion on this one. What should I be looking for, exactly? Sorry for the length of this and thanks.

In January 1996, Glentel launched its Mobile Satellite (MSAT) operations, being the first national full-service provider for TMI Communications' mobile satellite services in Canada. Glentel was awarded a significant five-year contract to manage the satellite needs of all departments of the Government of Canada. Glennet Associates, Glentel's network distribution channel, changed its name to Summit Leaders International at an inaugural Summit Leaders Conference held
in Vancouver. The name change signifies the potential global reach of this rapidly growing and very successful long distance distribution channel. Canada's first pipeline monitoring and two-way data gathering and control system utilizing USAT technology was successfully installed for a major oil and gas producer. Notable growth this year demonstrates our commitment in last year's report for stronger sales performance. Glentel continues to be virtually debt-free and in a strong cash position. Paid a $4.00 dividend in the first quarter of 1997.

GLENTEL Inc. announced today net income for the year ended December 31,1997 of $30,590,000 ($3.73 per common share) compared to net income of$2,646,000 ($0.31 per common share) in 1996. Included in net income for 1997 was a pretax gain realized on sale of assets of $51,916,000 compared to $11,039,000 in 1996.
1997 sales were $49,385,000 compared to sales of $60,708,000 in 1996.
The annual meeting for the Company has been set for 9:30 a.m. on May 28,1998 and is to be held at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Oct/97
GLENTEL Inc. (''GLENTEL'') announced today that it intends to purchasethrough the facilities of The Toronto Stock Exchange, up to 400,000 CommonShares (''Common Shares'') representing 4.98% of the presently issued and outstanding Common Shares. There are currently 8,029,295 Common Shares issuedand outstanding.
The purchases will commence on October 27, 1997 and will terminate no later than October 26, 1998.
The Company purchased 400,000 Common Shares at an average cost of $3.57 per share under the previous Normal Course Issuer Bid which expired October 9,1997.
GLENTEL believes that the current market price of its Common Shares does not accurately reflect the value of its business and its future business prospects. As a result, GLENTEL believes that its outstanding Common Shares represent an attractive investment and an appropriate and desirable use of its available funds.

The bid will involve over 40 remote pipeline stations linked to a master control center via satellite with a telephone backup link.

responsible for the System design, master and remote station engineering, manufacturing and installation. Glentel will be responsible for all satellite-related engineering, manufacturing and installation.
