I agree with you that the huge increase in liquidity during March will take the market to higher levels (ludicrous valuations are around the corner). But I still think we will get a small correction at some later time, maybe this summer. To that extent, I guess you could call the recent lull a very small correction.

So I look for higher prices in general. But I think CIEN is stuck in a trading range.

Did you notice the huge move last week in UNPH? They had a much more significant run than CIEN and usually they track to some degree. I think the reason CIEN is under pressure is the short players. They are not so easily shaken from a stock. So I think we will see more downward pressure for CIEN. It will continue to lag the greater bull market IMHO.
