that was michael murphy's theory about a year ago and i think it was a good one. he said the entire market cap of all the "inside the cell" bitoech companies (lgnd, isip, gnta, vicl, rzym, sugn a few others i can't remember) was less than netscape at that time (going from memory so i might be off). anyway, not much has changed. the market is still fixated on liquid big caps with predictable earnings. research and development (whether bio or straight<g>) gets no respect. btw, BOP for LGND is just about neutral now but on relatively low volume. no new buying support but no signs of serious selling either. otoh, we are only about a month from the NDA now.
